How This Affects Our Recommendations

Our affiliate relationships do not determine which products we recommend. We select products based on quality, customer reviews (with particular attention to reviews from Black women), value, and our own research standards.

We sometimes earn lower commissions on the products we consider best. We recommend them anyway. Our audience's trust is more valuable to this business than a higher payout on an inferior product.

We do not accept payment to feature products, write favorable reviews, or rank brands higher than they deserve. If that changes, we will disclose it clearly.
